Head Talks Forum & Exhibition
Perth, Western Australia
Host a ‘Morning Tea for Mental Health’ at 10:10am on 10 October either with friends and family, in your workplace, at your school, with your sporting or community organisation, or any group you are a part of.
Invite everyone to bring a plate to share, have a cuppa, and take a moment together to consider the importance of reducing stigma around mental illness.
You may like to come up with your own event to raise awareness about mental health and the importance of reducing stigma to make way for more people to seek help and improve their lives.
Be as creative as you like – there are no rules. It could involve being active, holding a talk, running a competition, watching a film or coming together with music.
It can be large or just a small gathering. Every effort makes a difference.
All around Australia many great organisations are already holding events during Mental Health Week 9-13 October, including on 10 October for World Mental Health Day.
