Community Yoga Class for Mental Health Awareness

World Mental Health Day is globally recognised on the 10th of October every year. Nationally, many states run events that promote the importance of mental health awareness during the month of October.

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians are affected by mental illness yet do not seek help because of the stigma behind mental illnesses? They could be a friend, family member, colleague or anyone you meet on each day.

Little Mandarin Yoga has recently moved its studio to the CBD (in the Nicholas Building – entry via Cathedral Arcade). We would like to invite you to a free community yoga class on Sunday, October 29 in our CBD studio. Let’s show up on the mat and make a #MentalHealthPromise together – whether to take some time out for yourself or to share support for one another.

Everyone is welcome – no prior yoga experience is necessary. Yoga mats and props will be provided so just bring yourself (or a friend). Register on our website (https://www.littlemandarin.melbourne/) as spaces are limited.



We recommend donating what you feel the class is worth on the day - even a gold donation is fine. 100% of donations on the day will be donated to Beyond Blue – an organisation that strive to support those affected by anxiety, depression and suicide.
