NeuRAtalks is a seminar series presented by NeuRA – Neuroscience Research Australia across a wide range of mental disorders by leading researchers in their field of study during Mental Health Week 2017.
The aim of NeuRAtalks is to provide the community with the opportunity to engage with some of Australia’s leading neuroscientists to learn more about the research work being undertaken at NeuRA, and how this work is leading the way in finding discoveries, to cure and conquer the most debilitating disorders of the brain and spinal cord.
At NeuRA we stand committed to supporting those, suffering from neurological and psychological disorders, their loved ones, carers and community.
In this the fourth of our series NeuRA talks – Addressing Mental Health Research, Discovery and Cures, we will be showcasing the great work currently happening in Bipolar, Depression and Schizophrenia and discussing the search for a cure.
We will be hearing from Prof. Cyndi Shannon Weickert, Dr. Jan Fullerton, Dr. Nikki Williams and our special guest NeuRA Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Prof. Peter Schofield who will be Master of Ceremonies for the event.
The seminar will be presented at the State Library of Victoria.
